It was 38 degrees in hell, Koala Land and they made me wait on the platform for my train which was 6 minutes late. You could have boil all the eggs inside my ovaries in 6 minutes. But 6 minutes is still better than the 2 hour wait last month due to a bat flew into the cable literally shot-circuited the whole board.
More often than not, I was always late to work as a result of something happening to the train and it was delayed. Just yesterday some sick guy push a car onto the tracks for the train to slam into it and delayed the whole line on a Friday. He should be made to sweep all the falling autumn leaves along the track as community service.
On top of all these bad services, they dare to saman me last year because I forgot to tap my card. I have taken my share of trains/mrt/lrt in multiple countries and this is the first time I was fined for not being able to produce a valid ticket. In other countries, they install auto gates to ensure everyone tap the card before boarding and will just deduct the amount due if you didn't do it.

Here, they only install the gates at the city stations and employed officers to patrol the trains checking train tickets and saman them when they find the ticket was not valid. Sounds very strict but it feels like a sneaky way to generate more money. I appealed but they said this is absolute liability which means the good intentions can go to hell and only the fact that you did it counts. What a nifty way to earn side income.
I will forever remember this trip. The fine made it the most expensive train trip ever! A$207.00.
